D.E.A. Psychodrama Institute is Bulgarian training and research centre devoted to the study of psychodrama, sociometry and group therapy. It is being run and developed by a collective of trainers and practitioners with diverse backgrounds in psychology, psychotherapy, medicine, human sciences, arts and related fields. While firmly based on J. L. Moreno’s legacy, the institute’s approach integrates also perspectives and influences from other modalities of psychotherapy and group work (group analysis, psychoanalysis, systemic family therapy, positive psychotherapy, community arts, etc.)
At present D.E.A offers psychodrama training in 4 major Bulgarian cities: Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna and Bourgas. It is affiliated to various other organizations, projects and initiatives both locally and internationally.
The institute is member of the Federation of European Psychodrama Training Organizations (FEPTO).
